Modelling the cat (a more complex model) and Texturing

Since I already had a base model for the cat (minus the ears) I began adding more geometry to it to allow for more fluid animations. In the base model the front legs and hind legs are attached below at the tummy when instead they should be starting from the shoulder. This gives more realistic movement instead looking like a round potato with stubby legs.
The paws and face were quite hard to model. The paws needed geometry around it – unlike a human hand, the toe for each paw is interconnected so instead of a rectangular shape as a base it is more of a spherical one.
For the mouth, I decided to add a sphere and sculpt it to position. A cat’s face mouth protrudes only slightly unlike a dog where the muzzle is long and away from the face. The eyes were duplicated geometry from the face and separated. This method allows me to undo any changes without warping the base mesh.
