Project Proposal and Research

This week I focused on completing my Gantt chart and refining my project proposal.

Ealier in September I had planned out my weekly sprints and a monthly overview of tasks to complete. Using this information and the inital MoSCoW analysis I refined my Gantt Chart keeping in mind time constraints and dependancies.


Since the most important mechanics are to be completed in the earlier stages of development they have higher priority than other aspects of the project such as models.

I have dedicated November for creating and animating assets for the game and December for Multiplayer support. At this stage I already have a basic model of the cat which would need more geometry and animations added. The main mechanics are to be completed by October which would allow for more progression in the overall game, and time to refine the mechnaics and optimise code in January.


The first playable prototype is aimed to be completed by mid-December.
