It is now the third and final sprint for the game - our team had a discussion of which tasks are left to implement into the game.
Our intended minigame where the player knocks on doors to deliver a parcel has been scrapped due to time constaints (was a "could have" in the MoSCoW analysis). The remaining art had been needed in time for submission and so many of the tasks had been split up. Our main artist is working on backgrounds in the meantime while I focus on retouching some old ones and creating new models.
The 2nd prototype also had the player sort items into containers instead of parcels (level 2) - a misunderstanding of the mechanics which has now since been fixed.
Our Second prototype has since been reworked - tutorials have been added to the game, the opaque backgrounds have been removed so the game looks more visually pleasing.
This week I had created several new assets:
Boxes - the old parcels were just the logo box stretched and did not look too good. The containers in belt were still default probuilder boxes.
House - the truck level still looks quite bare and so houses were added as a decoration on the side of the road
Trees - to be added in the truck level as part of level design

The new containers are now colour coded - so that the player finds it easier to sort parcels.
An outline has been added to make the models pop and look good in orthographic view. This will help the 3D models look 2D when viewed from a top-down angle.
Parcels:

The boxes range in size and contain the same texrture material. The coloured indicator underneath having a seperate material added.
Texture material:

An open box was also made for the first level:

A thicker outline had been applied to this box in particular since it is viewed from the front instead of from above.
House:
A simple low poly house. I created fences, a mailbox, tiles and trees for the scene.
